I was born in London but spent my early years in Sri Lanka. I did my schooling at St Joseph’s College Colombo where I also played rugby and cricket. Our family home was in Kollupitiya, Colombo 3. I left for London when I was 18 years of age.

I worked in Telecommunications most of my working life and had the opportunity to work and live in Washington DC and Paris in addition to living in London. I currently work in a consulting company in TMT, which is based in London and works mainly in the UK. We also have some interesting projects overseas, in Europe and the Middle East.

I am a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers and also a Freeman of the City of London.

I enjoy watching all sports and have many friends from my cricket playing days at Winchmore Hill Cricket Club.

I like travelling for leisure and also spend time watching movies at home. Also food and wine from all over the world is of great interest to me.
